Email account change info?

I currently have a yahoo email account and have been having some problems with it being slow, not getting all my email, and numberous other things.
I am thinking of changing to another email delivery. And was wondering what some of you that like your email accounts are using.
Is it free? Is it fast and secure? How hard was it to change? Questions like these.

I have too many to remember them all....gmail is great, especially if you have an android phone, and use gmail for email and calendars, plus it will back up your contacts. I don't use gmail anymore myself because I use my corporate email, and my yahoo that I've had for almost 16 years.

I've recently started using hotmail, and it's been great so far, easy as 1-2-3 to setup on the iPhone as well

Gmail, I like that I can sync my google calendar to my Iphone calendar.
