I have no clue if he was even taking drugs or whatnot for 6 months much less for seven years or longer....just curious as to the whole deal...maybe his body morphed in some way, who knows with today's medicine...it could all be malarkey but I have never seen that addressed. I don't know what they would do either....I just think he probably wasn't taking much of anything after a certain period of being free of cancer.

These sports run themselves right out of existence. It was already something most sports fans could care less about and stupid things like this drive even more away. They should parade him around teh world pushing the sport instead of wasting all that time and money tearing down a man and team that won their biggest event seven freaking times and set all those records. If you look at show animals the athletic world isn't too far off. I've seen pigs raised that were stout throughout the project just to be beat by a pig that was given a certain feed days before to fill them out.

Maybe they saved samples from Lances racing days and have tested them with the new methods and got the goods on him.

Samples from the Olympics are now being held for 7 or 8 years to be retested as new cheating methods are discovered.

This is my opinion and my opinion only. In professional athletes, who cares, it entertainment. This is their profession and how they make their living. Its kind of like that old racing saying. If you ain't cheatin you ain't tryin. If they are all doing it, which it seems they are then just let them. Why do we put supertuners on our cars and trucks? For the most performance we can get. I mean heck GNC is like the hot rod shop for humans. Everything in there is to make you body bigger, leaner, faster, whatever. I guess I'm just tired of hearing about it. Let them do what they want. I will still be entertained. O. K. Y'all can blast me now.

I have never met Lance. I know and work with several people who have. He is generally regarded as perhaps the most egotistical jerk to ever walk the planet. He is respected as an athlete but not very well-liked as a person.

As I said, I've never met him so I can't form an opinion. However, I've always suspected that officials were not cutting him any slack because of his abrasive personality.

I think its pointless to take his titles away, it serves no purpose. Everybody already knows that he set all kinds of records on the tour and people don't forget stuff like that. Just like if you ask who is the most winingest college coach...people are still gonna say Joe Pats even though its not "technically" correct anymore.
