This is one of those things that you can do it yourself, or save money by paying someone who knows what they are doing. I'm all for a DIY job, but unless you are doing it for a learning experience, don't. You can save a little money by telling them not to worry with piling brush and do that yourself. Probably save yourself $100-200 doing that.

Get ahold of jetlag, he had a dozer on here a few days ago in your area. He may have it out by now.

The rancher at our lease rented a little diesel track backhoe with a leveling blade last Saturday $235 for the day. They dug out and piled up a LOT of small/midsized mesquites from around the house, the middle pasture crossfence line, and from around one of the dry tanks by mid-afternoon.

          Have fun!

TREX mulcher. Just did about 10 acres on our farm and it does any tree and or brush you can imagine. Look it up on you tube. Im sure there is someone there that will be willing to do it. It can get pricey. Going rate is about 200$ an hour we had him come in for $180 an hour and 1000 up front. After 7 hours of straight mulching, we were through. Totaled out to 1300$. I hope this helps. Good luck

Hire a dozer with an operator. For your application you need something that can push stumps and a bobcat won't do it. You will be money ahead in the long run.

If you or know someone that can run a dozer or backhoe rent one if you cant hire someone it will be cheaper in the long run.

which ever way you go, get some good tree killer and make sure you kill all the trees before you start anything... you dont want something sprouting under the slab of your house or driveway material..(i say driveway material because i dont know for sure how to spell asphault) i agree by the way that a dozer with a good expreanced driver would be the cheapest in the long run..

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm gonna try to price a dozer and operator and see what I get back, I think
