My dad has a chance to get on a year round lease in Strawn for $1750. Does anyone know anything about that area? And is that a decent price?

Good price there are some nice deer out that way. One of my hunting buddys had a lease off 16 and he took a few nice wall hangers out there. -
Some spots there are good. Some are not. Guess the price is ok if it is in a good location with plenty of game. Need to check it, some of that area is no bueno.Comment

Strawn area completely depends onthe prior hunting pressure to the ranch and what it is surrounded by. There are plenty of areas that are overhunted and shot out and there are a few places/areas that are surrounded by large ranches that should be honey holes.Comment

My lease is just East of Strawn, North of Gordon. Haven't seen much in the last year or so. Have been some good ones taken around there.Comment
