        Stiles Switch is very good. Lance, the pitmaster, worked with Bobby Mueller(J Mueller's Dad) in Taylor for years and years. Coincidentally, Franklin worked for J Mueller for a while when he was in central Austin. What a tangled web of Texas BBQage.

          Their pit master knows what he is doing. He used to be at Louie Mueller's in Taylor and learned from one of the best and hardest working bbq men around until his untimely passing a couple years ago. I am also partial to them because of their name. My hometown of Thrall was originally called Stiles Switch because the Stiles family sold land to the rail road to put a switch in. People by the last name of Thrall came along later. The Stiles family that sold the land to the rail road are ancestors of the owner of Stiles Switch.
