It's still a mechanical...moving parts are always gonna have issues....at some point

I shot mechs since the early 90's...Now I will only use a Solid, 1 Piece COC Broadhead

I shot em back then too. I am just showing some alternatives to whats out there now. I have to kill somethin with them or I have no basis to form an opionion.

Regardless of how the blades open I'm convinced that you give up penetration on the larger cutting diameters.

You come up with that all by yourself?! J/k. Of course you will need some energy behind the 2" and the 3". The 1.5" not so much. But they are not made for low energy bows. With that said i still have to dig my arrows outta dirt after passing thru deer. So im also trying to use some of that energy i waste in the dirt and convert it to tissue damage.

I wont be able to really say till i shoot somethin with em. If i do shoot em and kill a deer, afterwards ill slam one low center shoulder and see if theyll stay together. I put no stock in ballistic jello and all that jazz.

Edit; or ill shoot one of Landrovers deer all to hell when he's not lookin!!!

I have been in with Ragin' on talking about this head and i have I guess the originals in the Inverter heads, only in a 2 blade version. Fly like darts, hardly anyway they could not work, but I was more impressed with a Phathead SOB and the Ramcat than this head, but in turn, the new owners may have made changes and made it better. Hopefully Ragin' will give us more info when he gets to shoot them. The heads I have did not penetrate3 near as well as either of teh other 2 heads in a new Blob target.

Loved the SOB's except for not being able to sharpen the sob blades.
