Who has tried/done the " The Insanity Workout " system

Thinking about getting this to try. Who has tried/done this workout and what do you think about it. Is worth the money?

    Thanks

I have a copy I downloaded on my HD, but never started it. Heard it'll kick your arse into shape though if you follow it through!

I haven't done it but I'm sure if you follow the program and stick to the diet it will work. You get out what you put in.

I love it but like everyone has said, you have to follow the diet plan. The diet plan is easy to follow though.

Here. It will whip your butt. I was burning 600-700 calories per workout.

I have completed P90X and Insanity. I am now in week 8 of Kriss Gethin 12 transformation.

All work IF you work. NO CHEATING THE SYSTEMS. I promise its 90% diet. I eat and drink 8 meals a day, a meal every 2 hrs totaling over 20lbs consumed a day.

I started at 212 Hoping to get to 190-185..............Now at 175 and in the best shape of my life at 33

                  p90- need home equipment
                  insanity- you are the equipment
Kriss Gethin-You need a gym and a desire to break limits

I'm a trainer so I've talked to plenty of people who have done it but I haven't myself. Along with P90X it's one of the better at home type workouts and will work if you eat right and stick with it but so will the Brazilian butt sculpting videos. Eat less, move more is the key.

                      Eat BETTER, smaller more often.

Keep Metabolism firing 24 hrs a day.
If I wake up at night, I drink a shake. 8hrs of starvation isn't horrible....but aint helping. (This dont apply to most, I'm training extreme)

Cutting fruit, all dairy, sugar, alc. for 2 weeks and you will be amazed..of course that type of dieting is short lived as well as the results.

Although there are a lot of studies coming out contradicting the effectiveness of eating 6-8 times a day I still think it's a better way to go as it does keep your metabolism working and doesn't allow your body to go into starvation/conservation mode. Like you said though it doesn't apply to most, you're the .5% of people that will stick to that way of eating for more than a day or two. Calorie cutting is the only thing I know that the average person will somewhat stick to long enough to see results.
Diet is 80%-90% of your results and that's no exaggeration. I've had clients that would work their *** off with very little change in their body composition and as soon as they get their eating in order it's like a light switch comes on.
LowFence have you tried the Cave Man diet? I'm not big on "diets" per say but I like doing it for periods of time.

I have done P90X with success and treid Insanity, but it was too much banging on my bad knees. It will work, but I am redoing p90X with the cardio and it is working also. At the age of 59, I am very happy with teh results of p90X and wish I could do Insanity, but the joints just could not handle it.

done it. it will flat out kill you. never seen a workout video where the people behind the "star" flake out and can't do the workout. you'll see plenty of that in Insanity. it is INTENSE.

and oh yes - buy it off of Craigs List and you'll save a bundle. lots of people have a copy that is gathering dust....
