Roger that. I keep going back to the Ruger line. I have an SP101 in .357 and it is a great gun.

I had considered that, but never actually shot one so I thought I would ask.

      Thanks!

I have a Raging Bull in 454- I shoot hot reloads in 45 long colt. I think the load I found best was a 265 grain pushed at about 1300 fps. It did the number when I was pistol hunting but lost interest a few years ago. I would sell you mine but I have an unwriten rule_ I dont sell guns.

What Saltwater said, You wont like the outcome of magnum loads and light weight handguns. Mass is you friend with big bore guns. 6" helps better than 4" with that, as well as better sight radius.

I use model 29 and got it before all the political BS.

How does the .41 compare to the .44? I have never seen or heard of this caliber until I started looking at large frame handguns?

I very much like versatility. With the .44 Magnum, I can shoot .44 Special. With .357 Magnum, I can shoot .38 Special (thus the Ruger SP101). I think you can shoot .45LC out of .454 Casull as well.

BTW Thorson, You'd be welcome to shoot my super redhawk, with or without the scope.
