Best place to buy iPad?

I'm going to buy an iPad for my wife. Who/where is the best place to buy one?

SAMS has them for about $30 cheaper then Apple's store and Best Buy.

Don't think there is any ways to save with buying Apple, it has a set price. But, who knows I have been wrong before. Do know the Ipad 2's are cheaper now with the New Ipad out.

Correct. Apple doesn't allow competition with it's on product. Price should be the same anywhere. If it isn't, get the cheap one. Cause of apple finds out, it won't be cheap very long

Try looking at refurbished. A friend bought one and it was like new but much cheaper. Also buying the previous model will save you some. Other than that they are pretty much the same price no matter where you go. I want one but haven't been able to break down and unload that much on it yet.

As others have said, SAMs; they were $100 cheaper when I bought mine, I think it was mis marked though.

if you have any military friends to hook you up, you can at least save tax by buying it on the base. Just got my wife one. No tax.

My son just bought one from Sweetwater. We saved tax and free shipping. we had to wait for about 1 week for delivery. Their customer service is top notch. We have purchased several things from them, very pleased with them. If you check with them ask for sales rep, Andrew Malloy, he's a good guy. I don't get anything out of referrals.

This company is one of the first Authorized Resellers under Apple's reseller program. They'be been in busines for almost 20 years and a great group of people. We buy through them for work related Apple accessories, but when it came time to buy an iPad for my daughter he was cheaper than anywhere else I could find.
