Hog kill with Gamo pellet rifle!

The new air rifles are nothing like the old school red ryders. They are super powerful if you buy the right one and shoot the right ammo. I was having a critter problem at my house and I was amazed at what was available nowadays in pellet guns and ammo. The one I bought shoots 1400 feet per second and it packs a punch.

I bought a Ruger Air Magnum and it is a great shooting air rifle. Gamo does a lot of advertising but the ruger has more power than the gamo.

I bought a benjamin .22 cal and can not get it to shoot accurately at all. I bought some different pellets. We'll see if that helps.

Are the Gamo guns fairly accurate / consistent?
