    Dumpers?

Okay, not what you think,. I was mowing the lease roads beside my property an hour ago and came across about 4 or 500 lbs of sch 80 pipe, fittings, flangers ect.. so I call the S.O. and reported it. Deupty calls me back and said probally just somebody dumping it! YOU can have it if you want it. Dang budget cuts!! I'm gonna move it and put up a T/C and see who comes back looking for it

Take it to the scrap yard. If you're gonna pick it up you might as well make some money off of someone's carelessness.

Yep thats exactly what I thought! Its mostly 2" and 3" stuff but I did see what looks like a piece of 4" bout 6' long. S.O. just called back and said I had to get the landowner to "deal" with it. My land owner has been to the property in the 16 years I've had it leased! I gave him a call and He said "get that junk off and fix the gate". So guess I better fix the gate!

have the fittings and flanges been used and cut up or unused?

I guarantee you that if they're unused, they were stolen and dumped to be picked up later to be sold for scrap...

If the flanges are unused and in decent condition. You may get more for them as what they are instead of scrap. Those suckers aren't cheap! They can't be worse than some of the flanges and pipe I've seen put in service at the plant I work at.

Short iron was 225 a ton last time I sold it, but I believe it's come down some since then.

Guys I'm sure the stuff is stolen.Nobody is gonna drive 200 yds off a very rural county road to "clean off" his truck or dump scrap. I've been having probs. with this kinda stuff forever, shots at night, beer cans dumped, "parkers", ect... I have not looked at the stuff really just drove past it and reported it. Some looked new and unpainted, some is painted gray..tomorrow it's getting moved and a cam set up well camo'ed.
