Big ask the doctor where he want to put the port, mine is right in the front and looks like a knot, and don't worry about the fills there's nothing to it, it will take three or four visits of getting fills before you really notice the restriction. If you have any questions fell free to ask.

I had mine done 4 years ago this month. I lost 120 pounds in the first 14 months. I have been able to keep 110 of it off. I was able to do my normal routine within a couple off weeks of the surgery. There was a couple of things that took a little longer, like lifting my left hand above my head. If yo listen to the Doc and follow the diet after the surgery and after your fills you should be good to go. Eat slow and dont be afaid to leave food on the plate.

Good luck to you. I had Roux-En-Y Gastric bypass on August 29th. I was shooting my bow after 4 weeks. That was probably a little earlier than my doctor would have liked, but you will know when your ready.
I did a "fake draw" with a piece of rope before trying my bow. I put all I had into it and didnt feel the slightest discomfort. Thats when I knew I should try.
Good for you on the procedure. I have lost 50lbs in 5 weeks.

I know a number of people that looked into it yet opted to have the sleeve procedure done. My wife was the nurse manager of a bariatrics floor and took care of the patients that had just had the procedures done. In her assessment the sleeve tends to have better long term results with less complications. What ever you have done please follow Dr's orders to a T and don't push it. Best of luck with the new you..
