    Some sharp things

Thought I'd share a few knives and a skinning axe that I've made. I've got quite a few in the works right now so I will post some more later on. I always welcome constructive criticism and questions.

    After bluing and sharpening.

Bowie I made for one of my longtime friends and elder at church. Had "The Bradley Knife" engraved on the blade (his last name) that's why there's an off colored section.

        Nice work.
I have to ask though, what do you use a skinning axe on/for?

Pretty much what ever you want. It has a thinner sharper edge than most camp axes. The best way to use it would be like an ulu (chop, slice, etc) skinning and small camp chores.

Surely you didn't stick that knife in that beautiful table.

All of them look great but just one question though. Why do you not take the handle material all the way to both edges instead of just one?

Haha! No there is a crack in the table that the tip fit perfectly into to act as a stand.

They all do except the fighter and on that one, it was a combination of amount of material, shape and "feel". Oh, and to just do something a little different.

I'd buy that skinner in a heart beat... I'm a fan of skinners with zippers, got one like it for sale?
