Neighbor's tree after a lightning strije Sunday. Looks like it was hit with a 105mm round.

Had a big old 30" mesquite get hit by lightning this spring at the ranch...it blew chunks of firewood in a 200 yard radius.

had a house strike a couple years ago and some of the rock from the out side of the house were blown into the neighbors house across the street and all over thw rd.
It is some powerful stuff

You got to wonder why it hit that tree when there were other big trees around. I wonder if that tree had more sap and was a better ground or what.

Seen lighting strike a tree Saturday evening while driving about 200 yards away. The pine tree just completely burst into flames! Was the most spectacular sight I ever saw!!

I had lighting strike a pine about 50-60 yards from a box blind, the whole tree burst into flames and it burned for an hour during a hard rain and never went out.
