    I finally did it!

Well today the wife and I took my little girl to viking archery for a little practice on her bow. While there the wife decided she was going to give it a try for once. So she barrowed one of there traditional bows and gave it a try. Well she raged her arm several times but never gave up. But she did give in and let me give her my arm guard after her forearm turned purple. Suborn redhead :-) but she liked it and had a good time. And my little girl (8) got 7 bullseyes and went from a beach ball group to a dubble fist group at 10yrds I was so proud of her. The people that where shooting there where very helpful and nice to both my wife and child. We had a really good time and I hope to do it a lot more. With the help of the green screen my wife is seeing how much of a family we are int the archery world and on TBH. I hope to be posting more of the Kozora family archery if she doesn't get her own screen name and do it herself.

Good for you. May I ask? Was she shooting a left handed bow? It appears so in the pics.
I may be wrong,(and I'm sure someone will be happy to correct me)But that may be the reason for the arm bruise. Just asking

Well today was a special day we went and picked her out her own bow. She got a Ragim Matrix jr and she loves it. I'm so happy to have her shooting with me and now she thinking of joining the green screen. Now she will understand why I'm on here all the time.

And she had great grouping. She excelled so much today by the days end she hit the bullseye and her goal that was her business card lol I don't think she likes her job very much any more. Now I just have to get her all the right equipment.

I answered the arrow question you posted on the trad page. I see a bad habit forming. She is short drawing that bow. This is THE WORST habit you can have shooting trad. Her head position is not good and her elbow is to high. Take her to some shoots and find someone to give her some pointers. We need more women in trad archery and I'm really glad shes got the bug. What arrow is she shooting in the pics? I can't tell for sure but it looks like it would be to short for her if she was at full draw. I'm excited for y'all, she is going to be very good at this. The 1000's might work after all. Sure wish y'all were closer to us.

Your right she was, luckily we had a senior Olympian archer next to her helping her. I just didn't take pics of her near the end our visit. Funny I was only messing her up so I'll leave it to the pros, like I said I'm a compound man.

The Jazz is an excellent starter arrow for her weight & draw, but after seeing thos pics they may not be the right choice after all. Lets move this back over to the trad page and look at the arrows Ron Meloni suggested.
