28 days from right about now we will be pulling into Gunnison for one last night in a real bed. Sunday we head into the mountains and horseback into the West Elks Wilderness. All we have to do is find a legal bull, get within 30-40 yards downwind and let one fly. Counting the days.

wow, I am so glad I don't have to wait that long.
I leave Thursday to get up there and acclimate, then pack in and start scouting for the opener next Saturday in Colorado.
I quit my job for this season, and a move to Colorado. Wednesday is my last day at work!Comment
