Our washing machine has a little smell to it that is getting on the clothes. I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the smell with out buying a new washer.

Have you ran an empty Chlorox bleach wash through your machine? may kil your smell.

There is also some washing machine tablets you can buy and run through your machine it is some kind of cleaner I cant remeber what the name of them are

1 cup of bleach in an empty wash cycle.... then run another wash cycle ( empty )after that
I do it once a month.... also leave the washer lid open when not in use.. will help it dry
after use.

If it's one of the new type washers they have to be cleaned every so often. They make tablets to put in there.

+1.......if it's the washer, clean it as posted above.

If its just the clothes, use less detergent in the wash. Especially towels.......

Less detergent and just a little fabric softener. I use a vinegar with water mixture for softener for my towels.
