    Thefts

There have been several reports of weapon, feeders, trailers etc. Some thing all of us can do is video our weapons and mark in a place only known to you or in a very obvious place so that if the thief tries to remove it we can still ID.
Make a list of serial numbers and as you video the weapons read it off such as Marlin 22 bolt action serial number 11111111 initial under butt stock/ forearm or such underside of the barrel or action. Anything you leave on a lease ingrave or weld a number or design on all trailers and atvs.
Once you make a video put it on 2 cds. Put 1 in a safe place and 1 at a parent or friends if yours get stolen you have a back-up. Do not put both in your bank safe deposit box. They need to be ready not wait till monday
If this happens to you you can give the police the cd for them to copy. burn pics for the pawn shops.
This was a good start when I was a popo. some folks did thier entire house .
I have had weapons recovered 15 years after the theft.

I'm still waiting on a Ruger Single Six that was stolen in 1980. Serial number was 65,300. It's burned into my memory.
