    That's actually pretty good information. I think a key component here is that if you are forced to fight, in the video they mention "commit to your action." That's very important. Hesitation isn't good in this situation. Let's hope none of us ever has to face this, and no one ever does again.

      Good video. Obviously filmed in Texas, because the front door of the office building was posted 30.06 for no CHL (about 0:59 in the film).

      It made me realize I don't have much in the way of improvised weaponry in my office, unless I wanted to chuck cell phones at the shooter.

        That Bic pen in your pocket is a nasty weapon. I never go anywhere without one in my top pocket. {Plane - bank - liquor store}
        Think about it folks......

            Here at the University we were sent to a short class (if you would call it that) about this exact thing. It was put on by the UTPD and another department that I think was Homeland security.
            Good information!!!!!

                I've been reading about the concept of "violence of action", essentially forcing yourself to be decisive and fully commit in high stress dangerous situations. I most scenarios the actor/aggressor wins, the responder loses.

                    Cross pen is better, the cross mechanical pencil is even better

                      Good video, thanks for posting and I'm sending to my wife and daughter.

                      They should add, as my Dad told me, monkeys hit with a bare hand- humans use tools, and if you hit him, crush his skull and kill him on the spot. No mercy at that time.

                      Thanks again.

                        I sent it to a bunch of my friends and coworkers. It was something I felt has to be passed on to people you care about. I want them to run and hide. Myself, I will shoot him in the face with zero remorse.

                          When my kids were in high school, they did these idiotic lockdown drills where if there were a shooter on the campus, they'd lock the classroom doors and nobody got out.

                          I told him if God forbid it ever happened, he had my permission to throw a chair through a window to get out of the classroom, and if the teacher tried to stop him, to punch the teacher lights-out to get past/over him/her and out the window.

                            I posted this video last week when I got it from my wife. Her company had sent it to all the national offices to show to the employees.
