Has anyone been down and below in the A&M tunnels

yep!!

full of stuff. mostly ancient heating/cooling and plumbing pipes. they lead to each building and there are open spaces under those buildings.

most are closed off with iron gates that are locked. the older buildings have wet walls that all the plumbing runs up and there are access doors to those. you could go from building to building and never see the light of day. tons of stuff stored down there as well.

When I was there in the early to mid 70s some of the corps dorms had a door at the stairwell that you could go through and get to tehm. We went about as far as the library till we chickened out and turned back. Rumor was that if you got caught in there it was automatic expulsion.

Yessir used the one behind west campus library that lead over to the vet school all the time. It went under university st.

Sad to say I've been in most of them at one time or another. The post about them being filled with abestos is right on, however, it is being removed from one Project to another during renovations. Lots of BLACK WIDOWS also. I have seen many a tracks of students down there too!

i found a giant wooden modle boat one time. it was in a big crate and termites had moved in.it was neat though. i think it was the kind that is used in their big wave tank.

under the buildings where the wet walls are we founds tons of stuff. students would dump stuff down the walls through the access doors. lots of old bottles, syringes and other drug accessories and ****.

What kind of stories, my Dad worked for Binford pest control and the owners son said they would party down there lol,I guess he should of brought a spray can to get rid of them Widows!!!
