By spending the time training on what animals to go after, or trash breaking.

I don't think this is true, I feed my dogs deer, beef, and all other kinds of meat and they don't mess with cattle or deer.

I am refering to the sport of them chasing the animal,, it is now like a game to them,,,I had an English Boxer that got in with my Sheep and she started playing with them but as they started running it turned something on in her and she chased it and Killed it,, I could not keep out after that. she had to go...

            Really?

This thread was asking to re-home two dogs.
It doesn't matter if they were Michael Vic's dogs, his post had nothing to do with what the OP was asking for. What benefit came from him saying, "I have no use for a pit"? That's fine. Not everyone likes pits. That little round blue button in the upper left hand corner of your screen should be used in situtations such as this.

If you've been hog doggin you know that you only release the catch dog when they have a visual on the hog. There should be no conflict with cattle or horses IMO. Keep the beast on a chain until it's time to smash the hog.

Otherwise these dogs (or any catch dog) should be kept in a kennel. No exceptions. They are useful tools but dangerous as hell.

Exactly! You can't let these dogs roam free or things like this may happen! Please PM me the contact info and I'll give her a call.....

I was just curious, we have a catch dog w pit in him, never a problem. He has been around all types of domestic animals without problems. Just wondering if this was common.
