My Turn to Brag! ***8 YO Boy with some pretty sound QB Mechanics***

Alright alright.... it's my turn to brag on my boy... He's 8 and play's select football. I know, I know crazy right? Hey it's texas and we're all about football... I just glad all the money that I've paid through the years is actually paying off.

I'm in Denver on business and didn't get to attend but this is a warm up session at Cowboy's Stadium prior to a scrimmage they got to play there tonight...

Throwing a strike on an out route. One of the hardest throws to make in football acurately. Especially at 8.

I'm very proud of him and the work he puts in on a daily basis...

Uniforms were bland. we didn't have our new game uni's in yet so we stuck with our practice attire. They played well won 28-0.

I like the second pic too. Can really see how smooth he is in his drop... eyes are down field and not giving away his "hot" route.

I really wish the 4th wasn't a bit blurry. You can really see the extention on the front leg, up on the ball of his foot standing tall, thumb in pocket and delivering a strike.

I spend a lot of time being super critical, breaking down video and pictures. Maybe too much at times. Hard to be to critical here....

I wish I could take the credit, but he trains with a private QB coach. I took him as far as I could and then knew it was time to turn him over to a professional to keep any bad habits from developing. The hardest part was finding someone to to take him at such a young age. He's been going for almost two years now.
