flippin a/c went out

I get home from a hot day in the oilfield, only to find my house a bit on the warm side, 84 degrees to be exact! Looking at a rough night ahead, because my AC Guy can't come till tomorrow! About to put the two shop fans in the bedroom!

That sucks, happened at my house last summer, turned out to be a capacitor, cheap fix, not a problem since. Hope it's nothing too expensive on your end.

Same thing happened to me this morning when we woke up. Had my mothers funeral today so couldn't mess with it. Most of the time it's just a capacitor, so I always keep a couple of them. But, turns out it's the fan motor...again. Thinking I'm about due for an upgrade on our old system.
