        Born and raised in Seattle, we use to get those in our drag nets a lot. We all thought it was plant life attached to the bottom. They move like there alive though!! Oh and hope you enjoy GOD'S country....

                  That is a type of sea anemone (sp)! When I was in the USCG on a buoy tender , we would have to scrape hundreds off the hull of the buoys before repainting and setting them. We had a special name for em on the boat lol.
