What's everybody using on their DIY blind floors for sound muffling?

Exactly what I used, went to Lowes and bought some indoor/outdoor carpet and cut them to fit the floor of my blind, nice and quiet

Carpet in mine. Make sure you buy new. Old musty, ****** on carpet is no bueno!

I went to a carpet store and asked for old carpet. The lady said I couldn't have what she had there in the yard, but that she was going to look away and not see what I was going to do. The reason is because of liability since old carpet might have "critters" living in it. I took it home, threw it in the back yard for a week or two (no need to worry about it getting rained on down here ), then put it into my blind. No smell, and no "critters."

1/2 inch stall mat from TS. A little more on the top end but will last forever and mice #1 and #2 doesn't cause your blind to smell like a pet store.
