The day has finally arrived!

After my boys football practice this eve we are finally headed out to do our first Texas Boys Outdoors filmed fishing trip! Its my younger son Lil Roy's first practice in full pads so that will be cool in itself, then were headed out for Matagorda TX! Gonna get there and rest a few hours before meeting up w my buddy Daniel Kubecka from Run N Gun Adventures at the harbor and hit the water at dawn. We plan on doing some drifting as well as have the boys hop out and do some wading over some flats that have been producing some nice trout lately, so we'll see what happens. The boys are pumped and my oldest, who is also our camera man is excited as well. He's been doing some audio/video work for our church (Fellowship of the Woodlands) for the youth service and for his age has become a solid camera guy. Wish us luck, hoping to get some good footage, and more importantly have a great time! Very blessed to be able to do something like this and have my boys involved, God is good!

What do you plan to do with the footage of the Texas Boys fishing trip?

TV show, Video's on CD's to sell, keep them just for memories

I seen the post on the logo design a few weeks ago and like it, but was not sure what yalls long term intensions were, or how big yall planned on getting.

We are just gonna get as much footage as possible over the next few months starting off with some fishing trips we have planned and then some hunting starting in October. In the meantime we'll put together some YouTube videos for our website and Facebook page. Then after we have quite a bit of stuff together a friend of mine that's become a very successeful audio/camera guy in Los Angeles is gonna help us put together a pilot episode he's gonna send to his friends w a few networks. He is the one who originally contacted me a few months back about putting some stuff together. Who knows what will come out of it all, but so far things gave started off great and if I can enjoy doing some outdoors stuff like this with my family involved then it's a win/win situation for me regardless of what happens. We fish Matagorda tmrw, Galveston next week and then Sabine Lake in early Sept. Our hunting filming will mostly be done on our family owned ranch in E TX. And we're also working w a friend of mine that manages 10,000 acres in S Texas that has some monsters on it to have the boys come down and go after a big buck. Things are just getting started, but I'm excited about the next few months!

I'm not far from ya. If ya ever want to jump over to the freshwater side, then we could film a bass beat down on lake Conroe. I know how to catch 'em good when it's cool or cold outside. Late Oct thru March are my strongest months. I do several of the tournament trails on that lake.

Oh and I'd still like to get my hands on one of those logo shirts in XL.

I got some shirts done and actually have an extra XL long sleeve, however these are just some cheap quality shirts I had done for our trips the next couple weeks. I've had some awesome feedback on the logo so gonna get some cool designed shirts that guys can actually use to hunt/fish in w logo on them. Those cost quite a bit more so will be a few more weeks...1 step at a time lol. If you want my extra long sleeve tho let me know, just not sure how long logo will hold up after a few washes.
