You can use Google Earth. You can drop pins at each of the last places you see blood when tracking. Comes in handy at night.

i use google earth alot. the only downfall to google earth is service. if you don't have good reception it is hard to get the map to load up. i have pins set on all of my camera's as i scout unfamiliar area's and its usually spot on.

i have been reading up on the garmin e trex hand held hunting gps. for 80-140$ you can have different models and from the reviews i have read they are really worth the money and you would never have to worry about cell service for them to work properly.

GPS KIT for the iPhone. It does a great job tracking where you go, and you can drop pins where needed.

Check out Gaia GPS. Downloadable maps, then you only need the gps part for tracking and waypoints.
