Quick and INTENSE! My area was hit by a microburst during the spring of 2004. I was waiting up for the line to move through around midnight on the front porch. Before the wind hit the cable went out, then the electricity went out.....and then all hell broke loose with trees falling everywhere and limbs flying through the air. It was like a one minute cat 3 hurricane.
