I wasn't trying to front anyone out, really. Totally not in my nature at all.
Oh no not at all. I said it very clearly. I knew you weren't directing that to any specific people on here but in general. I added my comment and apologized for any insensitive remarks that may have come out the wrong way. I was just trying to get my head wrapped around as to what happened here and all that. I've not forgotten the family of these people that are affected and wanted to be sure of that.

I really appreciated you bringing up an obvious point because we have to stop and think about these family first and worry about the gun laws and all that bureaucratic crap second.

I could be wrong. If I offended I apoligise.
Of course you didn't offend. Not at all. I see the writing on the wall, the shocking frequency of this type of event makes me shutter at the potential anti gun sentiment.

I'm not blind to it, just too heavy hearted when this type of thing happens to focus on it.

And heck, sometimes I just have to say things out loud so I'll keep myself in check

That goes for everyone on both sides. It's a bummer, the outliers on each side make up the opinion of the majority.

Just like the Aurora shooter, he might have been a member of the Occupy movement, but he was not what they looked to represent.

All about keeping people moderate and level-headed, while remembering that one persons actions don't speak for the whole.

Please redirect this thred, it is about the victims, the suspect doesnt deserve it!

I am not going to rant about some of the posts here but please pull up this link:

Constable Brian Bachmann was shot and killed while serving an eviction notice at a home on the 200 block of Fidelity Street in College Station at approximately 12:15 pm.

This is the Officer Down Memorial page, this org does so much for those that have lost thier lives in the line of duty. Please post a reflection the page and for those that really have some bite to thier Bark!, please send something to the Constable office.

I know from experiance, what a letter from a stranger can do for a wife of a fallen officer. The Fact that thier husband is gone will never be lost but the letter from someone they dont evan know, helped so much!

For those that have never seen or shown thier respect to a fallen officer, please try and attend the funnerl or at least stand by with a flag on the route. The thousands of officers that attend and the line of police and fire vehicles escorting the Officer to his grave is an amazing salute to that officer's life and family.
