    Beware using the screws with the sharp taper. Get the ones that are blunt and almost the same size all the way to the tip. They are harder to get started but are much safer. Reason being is that the sharp tapered ones will no longer be tight if they are unscrewed even just one half turn for whatever reason.

      I keep a couple with me on my tree stand harness, but they are for emergencies only.

        Good point(no pun intended) If you get EZ steps you will have no problem...especially if you also get the step tool in my post. have fun!!!
