    Care package for some soilders

I 'm planning to send a care package to my son and his buddies in Kuwait. There are 36 guys living in a tent. Give me some suggestions on what to send. I'm planning on beef jerky and nuts, and books. Don't know what else to send at this time of year, the daily highs are 125 to 130 degrees, so nothing that could melt. I asked about wet wipes and toiletries and he said they didn't need any. Maybe dvds? I know my son has a laptop, but I don't think he has a dvd player. I would asume that some one has one.

What else can you think of?

i've shipped close to 30 cajun care packages in the last several yrs

the PO has flat rate APO boxes that will cost you around $12.00 to ship whatever you can fit

i would send Blaze , qtips, wet wipes, gum, hard candy, razors for shaving, slim jims, socks, handkerchiefs, tooth brushes , tooth paste, jerky, sunflower seeds, chapstik, visine, dental floss, granola bars, gummy bears, crystal light, gatorade powder, trail mix, coffee, ramen noodles, soup mix, microwave popcorn peanuts, playing cards, doggie treats for the K9's, female sanitary and hygiene products....

If you google what to send to that particular place it will tell you what is most popular there that the soldiers buy & give you ideas of what they cannot get there that you can send. Oh and thank you to your son & the others

don't take this the wrong way but you could include some propholactics. No, not for that use. I knew several soldiers that would put them over the end of their weapons to keep the sand out of them. Maybe some large balloons would be better.

Individual powdered drink mixes are usually a big hit and magazines and always appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to do this, it's always nice to get things from back home no matter what's in the box.

My buddies always asked for socks, magazines, chapstik, and powdered drink stuff. Anything beyond that was a bonus for them. They're all home now, so I haven't sent anything in a while, I'd be down to contribute to this
