    GS Brain Trust Question

Ok, I have googled and asked around and not luck so here is the question:

Can you anchor a houseboat on a Corp Lake and live on the boat?

I wonder because if you can rent a slip and live on your boat why could you not anchor and live on the same lake?

    Thanks in advance.

                  No, you cannot.
Environmental compliance laws come in to play concerning septic discharge, etc...

What particular lake are you referring to?

I put a link in my last post. It's Code of Federal Regulations, Title 36.
Just passing info...don't shoot the messenger.

Not true in Texas as many people live on their boats in marinas.

I was just quoting the Code of Federal Regulations. I'm afraid you will get the same answer from any Corps office and from any other Corps employee, Ranger, or Manager...especially in the Fort Worth District.
