High voltage weekend.

Well, it's really medium voltage. 12,480 volts per phase.
We are doing our annual campus wide utility shutdown this weekend.
I have to put on the flash suit and get in the cabinets to apply ground sets. This is a 100,000 calorie flash suit. It gets a bit warm.
I don't like messing around with this voltage.

Dont eat the whole suit at once. Thats too many calories in a day

Our electricians ant one of the plants had similar suit with battery powered fan in the hood.... better safe then getting burnt...

I worked 14400 under ground for many years but I've never seen one of those suits.Do you work it with your hands or with hot sticks?
