    Best Chronograph

Looking at picking up a chronograph. I am interested to know what my bow is shooting and I wouldn't mind seeing what my rifles are shooting as well. Who's got one and what do you reccomend? I see Midway has got one for $125. Ebay has them for as low as $85. I don't need anything fancy, just something that will tell me a number. What do y'all got?

I have a Beta Chrony that I've had for many years. I used it alot back when I was reloading and some now that I am building my own arrows. It is a good unit for around that $125 price range. That is the only unit that I have ever used so I don't have anything to compare it to.

I always liked the one Micky Schilling had in Jasper. My bow gained 25fps every time i shot thru it!

I too have a basic Chrony that I have had for years, and it has always served me well. I think I paid about a hundred bucks for it. As far as accuracy, I've never had it calibrated, but it is very stable. repeated shots from the same set up seem to register the same, gun or bow so if you're looking for relative change between loads, arrows or just changes in release or form, it is sensitive enough to give very small changes in speed as a result of those changes.
