    Where do they learn it?

Are some kids just born with a ability or just able to pick up from what is around them? My youngest has been chunking the ball around and kicking it. His form is really good. It is crazy because I have only thrown the ball with the older boys . Maybe the Cowboys could use a good field goal kicker

It amazes me too when I see this. I have a niece who has a son that has been playing baseball since he was 2. He's eat up with baseball. No one in his past has ever been a baseball player. His dad played football in college, but had nothing to do with baseball... My 20 month old grandson can already hit a ball that is pitched to him with his plastic bat... And when he hears music, he goes into this little dance that is about the funniest thing you ever saw... AND he's in perfect time with the beat of the music... I guess some of our gifts just show up earlier than others.

Yes, they learn it from the older ones. My oldest is 5 and my youngest is almost 2. The older one plays soccer and baseball. My youngest has been kicking balls all over the house for about 6 months. He grabs the ball, drops it and then kicks it on the bounce. We now only have really soft balls in the house because he has about knocked everything off the walls. He has learned it watching his older brother play soccer. My youngest can even hit a baseball (granted, the pitch has to be in the perfect spot). He timing of the bat is great. He can't hit the ball if it isn't a perfect pitch, but again. We were amazed. The older one never did any of that. Best we can figure is the younger one is always watching his older brother and copying what he does. Crazy how kids learn. Cool though.

Some just have it and some don't. The ones that don't but try hard to learn are the ones
                  that I like to see.
