ID:	24913814Well I just paid her off and now I am just tossing some ideas around. I am thinking that it sure would look good with a bullnose front replacement bumper on the front. Not sure what all my options are??? Anybody have any suggestions as of which bumper looks toughest/coolest/cleanest?? I am not wanting to put a lift on it just some better tires so I don't want the bumper to be to gaudy. 2006 Chevy 1500 z71

Any full replacement on a near stock height 1/2 ton is going to look gaudy. Paint it

It's a Chevy the only thing I can think would really improve it would be trading it in

i would probably go matching rear and front with ranch hand. The better looking brands like road armour, iron bull, arb are just too heavy so it might make you rub your new tires when cranked left or right going offroading of any sort

I have a full replacement bumper on my 3/4 ton and I push open bump gates with it and it keeps deer and brush out of my radiator. Never thought about how it looks. Maybe I should look at it sometime other than through the windshield.

Dont know about a heavy full bumper replacement on a 1/2 ton, but sure would put a good brush guard on it before one of those crazy Deer run in front of ya one night and mess up your payed for truck.

Idk about that girly chevy but this is my toy. Front and back bumpers. But I wouldn't do it without a lift and bigger tires. That was the only pic I have of the back bumper.

Mine is a 1/2 ton. The guys saying they can't handle it don't know. They make the for 1/2 tons. Lighter for the smaller trucks. I chose to go with the same bumper as a 3/4-1 ton. Handles it fine.

Powder coat front bumper black and add brush guard. Black replacement rear bumper. Black and brushed nickel finished rims. Leveling kit, but add 1" lift block to the rear

Thanks for the idea. I might just look into this. I already put the leveling kit on it when I first bought it. I didn't go with the blocks for the back cause I just wanted it to be level and still have a good ride. Do you know of any pictures of a truck with a painted bumper and a grill guard?
