    I always said this as well...then I folded like a cheap lawn chair last year when I had one at 10 yards.. For some reason, I just watched her play in the leaves and didnt shoot her...

      what park were u at? I use to work for the city of Corinth years ago.... was it the softball fields?

            It's a story I will tell on another day (another thread). It was quite funny to all except me and the flying squirrel.

            Glad you had the close encounter. I've watched several from the tree stand but they were all small ones. If I ever see a full grown Tom, I might shoot him. Don't know though, I like watching them. I had a cousin that rescued two kittens off the highway when the woods were flooded. They were the meanest animals I have ever seen.
