CURED my COON Problem for good

No more tac strips, cages, electrice shock, sheet metal around the legs. And its a blast. PCSTRAPPING SUPPIES DUKE Dog proof Coon traps, Fleming disposable stakes and good coon bait was all it took and I have Quail back now and twice as many turkey polts this year. The grand kids love it, deer are getting the protine and corn also get a skunk or possum every once in a while I finally found the answer and it addes something else to ths ranch to do year round.

      I agree. Those traps work!
Nothing makes me more angry than pulling up on a protien feeder that coons have raked the feed out of!

Been using them for awhile now and we've killed at least 40 coons so far, we keep a club close by to finish them off with.

Same here, great traps. I noticed I missed a few but another trip or two to the lease should take care of that!

If we did that on our lease we'd do nothing but run traps and kill coons. We could pile them fifty feet high.

Pics from one website after doing a search:

The Duke Dog Proof Coon Trap features a fully enclosed dog proof design with powerful coil springs, a sensitive trigger system and a straight spade staking system. The trap is fired when the raccoon reaches in for your bait, and instead grabs the trigger, firing the trap. When baiting Dog Proof Coon Traps; apply the lure or bait to a cotton ball or sheep's wool. Place below the trigger so the raccoon has to reach past the trigger to get the bait. Dont forget to order the Duke Dog Proof Trap Set Tool. It makes setting the trap much easier !

I use those with canned mackerel. Mmmm, coons can't seem to resist it.

Got my cuffs in June and have already killed 22 within 1/4 mile of each other on a river bottom. I got 12 at one stand in 2 weeks and haven't seen one on may cam yet!

I have been setting 3 traps in each feeder and use mini marsh mellows as bait. Once they are snagged I use my pellet gun to put them down. One .177 in the ear and they are done. I manage a bow hunting only operation and the pellet gun is nice and quiet.

                            Good Luck
