I was able to draw a gun hunting spot on Camp Bullis yesterday. When I scouted the area, there is a ground blind in place that I am expected to use, and cannot move without permission (I've asked permission, but they haven't given me an answer). When I pulled back the rear tarp to check out the interior, I saw what looked like a 6" to 8" thick shag carpet hanging from the roof. I took a stick and scraped about a 1/10th of it really quick, and discovered the "thick carpet" is actually thousands (not exaggerating) of Daddy Long Legs. They fell to the floor and immediately began their climb back to the ceiling.
Now, I'm not afraid of spiders, and most of the time I just ignore them. A few wouldn't bother me at all. But if I pull the trigger or bump this blind in any way while sitting inside, I'm going to be COVERED with DLL's!
Not exactly what I'd like.
Any idea how I can get rid of these (permanently) before gun season?
All the best,
Glenn
