    stand placement

    i know this is really impossible without seeing in person, but im kinda just looking for ideas, and doing this for fun. we got a new lease last year and learned a few things about it during the season. 4 of us on 400ac. discovered my stand is very near a bedding area, i would jump bedded deer every morning walkin in. if i went in around more towards the south, i would spook deer from the field/field edges. if i went north, i encroached on my brothers area.
    stands = yellow circles
    my setup = light blue circle
    bedding area = white circle
    ponds = solid blue
    camp = red circle
    i know all activity can/may change year to year, but im thinkin of moving my setup back a bit and trying a field edge approach. proposed area is the green circle. ideas on placement? approach?

    Are these stands with feeders or ambush points?

        Someone needs to spread out to the northwest of the property along the northern woodline. Big bucks may travel that during the rut making scrapes and checking does. leave the stand in the feeder area and push another location on the northeast. It just makes a funnell near the creek that runs outside your property. I would becarefull bunching up like that. You proubally know this, but dont focus on hunting only your property. Take advantage of the map and stay close to the terrain features of the adjoining properties the best you can. It makes me feel like I have more acreage.

        I had to edit this cause I see that you have a stand near the north west corner. This is good looking property. I hunt very simmilar looking place in Glenrose area.
