    Silly Olympic Archery question

Ok, so instead of working, I was sitting here on the Green Screen and thinking about the olympics. I have done absolutely no research so don't blast me . So, I'm assuming that in olympic archery you have to hit the target to score. If your arrow does not strike the target, no score. So, what happens if an archer gets a Robin Hood? The arrow never actually hit the target. Just curious. Has it ever happened? Is it even possible with olympic equipment?

Well, I guess you can see how busy I am today by the nature of this question

same score as the arrow that got robinhooded!!! Not sure if they will stick together as the arrows are more brittle and may just shatter.
