I had Rotator Cuff surgery today.....

I got to the Dr. at 11:20am and got into happy land at 2:15. Woke up at 7:15 and made the drive home, arrived at 9:50. Very long day but ready to get this recovery under way. I'm numb as a dead fish from the shoulder to my finger tips, so all is good right now. I know it won't stay this way.
Thank God all went prefect and for his healing hands to take control now.

I did this last year. You will feel it when you try and sleep in your own bed. Get all you can out of PT and get that range of motion back. Good luck.

Been there twice. Take it easy, do what the Dr. tells you.

Prayers sent for a smooth and quick recovery.

i had the surgery 3 years ago,, get well soon and follow the pt to the letter,,, do not take the advice of anyone else..... my third day after surgery was by far the worse..... i have made a pretty good recovery,, although i know i will never be 100% again,, its nice not to hurt all the time

You will get allot of advice from folks here....they are not doctors.....do what your doctor tells you can and cannot do....PT is very important...

I've had it done 3 times and the wife's had it done twice. All I can say is, take it slow, always go to rehab and take pain meds before you go to rehab!

Good luck in a speedy recovery! I had Rotator cuff Surgery Easter weekend this year... Had 4 anchors and a pin put in. DONT rush it, let it heal. Its going to feel like you made a horrible decision for about a month or 2, but it gets better. The trick is to move and therapy EXACTELY as the Dr says... hope you wont miss all the season !

Just make sure you do physical therapy. I had mince done several months ago and still feel it when I move in certain directions. Hope you recover soon. I will not be bowhunting this year because of it.

Edit: A nice comfy chair will be your best friend for a while.

They didn't let you drive did they? Surely someone else drove you home. I hope.
