Yep. My 6 yr old and his team have been practicing since the 2nd week of July. 1st year to go full pads. They are not a fan of the conditioning either.

I had a helmet that was so tight I would get headaches and the coach called me a *****, so I quit in 6th grade.

Yeah my son just finished his drill days and is starting 2a days next week. he is soo tired when he comes in he barley makes it to his room.

Ah those were the days.... I remember wearing the helmets that had no padding in them, just the nylon webbing. We were allowed to bring one glass coke bottle full of water for all of practice.

Yikes. I went for a run down the trail in town today at 2pm. It was 102 at the house. Its to hot.
