CHL renewal turn around time????

Looking to see what folks are seeing as far as turn around time for your CHL renewals?

Gotta do mine soon and want to make sure I don't get caught illegally carrying or not being able to.

I know last time it took about 3 months. Is this still what it is taking?

I sent my paperwork july 3rd, got my license july 26

Do you happen to know if you were in the same class as a guy named Doug Lee from Lampasas? Just curious, I know he took the class recently and has started a business. Good guy.

I got mine in about 2 weeks . I was to the point where I didn't not have to take a class . It was my 4 time to renew .

I got a letter saying I could do it on-line, Has anyone done this ??

You can apply on line, the class is not online...at least not in Texas

Took under 4 weeks for mine back in January.

Instructor told us that they all go in the same stack, new and renewal and the turnaround was 4-6 weeks...lets hope that is true!

Thats how I did mine. Took maybe 10 minutes.
