Tractor Supply pet vaccines

Wanting to get some feedback on the Tractor Supply Spectra series of dog vaccines. I used the Spectra 7 way on my new pup. I am wanting to use it exclusively in the future.

Does anybody use at home pet vaccines? If so, what brand and have you had or heard of any problems?

I have heard some mixed reviews on guarding against parvo and what not, any feedback from the green screen is appreciated.

They seem to work for me. I've been giving them to my dogs and puppies for about 4 years.

Gave em to my pup, and buddies did too when we all lived in Stephenville (apparently Parvo is pretty common down there). Worked just fine for us!

Only bad thing I have ever heard about vaccines from Tractor supply is they may not be handled in a timely matter. Like leaving them in the box too long and not getting them refrigerated soon enough.

Agree with Hawkins and not just tractor supply, any fees store which may have
Individuals whose not know the severity of getting the vaccines on ice ASAP. . I would order directly from Jeffers and have them double ice and ship.

Thanks for the feedback. Those were the concerns i heard about the vaccines from Tractor Supply, they may not be handled correctly.

I will look into ordering from Jeffers.

I have a feed store and this is what we recommend...

It is important for a puppy to get a dose of the Coronavirus in the vaccine course before they are 6 months old.... and the 7-way vaccines usually don't have it in them....

The "Puppy" Shot - 6-8 weeks of age



Followed by a 7-way 3-4 weeks after the Puppy Shot.... and another 7-way 3-4 weeks after that one for a total of 3 shots.




and then a 7-way vaccine as a booster shot given annually.

Nitelite.com is another source I use other than TSC. I tried to order rabies shot and I did read which state they can not ship to and didn't see Texas until two days later after I ordered it. I got an email saying that they can't ship to Texas address. I have to go look for pet clinic for rabies shot for both my boys. I used TSC without any issues. So I don't know. Maybe a hit n miss issue? Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I used the TS Spectra 7 Way. Don't think pup liked the Lepto. He had some itchy skin for a while. For his next round i am going to use the 5 Way.
