Like some others, I'm always looking for that little something extra to help with scent control. Last year I got an Ozonics and it seemed to work as advertised. There were however a couple of cases where deer would put their noses in the air down-wind and smell. They never spooked and ran off but several mature deer would not come in because they could tell something was a little different. I don't think they smelled me but I think they may have smelled the ozone and it was something new.
This year, I purchased some small car ozone producers that I'm going to setup at each blind location to get the deer used to the smell of ozone in the area. I'm not going to rely on these to replace my Ozonics, just something I can leave in the field to keep the ozone scent out there.
I'm going to hook these up to a 12v battery and a solar panel. They are run on 12v and have a small fan 1" or so and you can smell the ozone when they are running. Between these and the BuckCandy I just got in this morning, we'll see if the deer can smell me.
By the way, I got these at DealExtreme for $17.
