As far as I know, 7A has seen its better days. There were old rock facade cabins and then newer portable building type cabins. I'd prefer the older rock ones. The river is probably still really good. Lots to do in the village of Wimberley. Back in the day at 7A (the late 60's and early 70's) there were gunfight re-enactments in the streets of pioneer town, horseback riding, a train ride, cafe, dancing girls and show, medicine show, and putt-putt golf. These days I think there is still an arcade, ice cream parlor, and emporium.

What he said. We held our family reunion their for 30-40yrs that I am aware of, but stopped going 2yrs ago. Build around a neat little western town, enjoyed the gun fights when I was younger. Once the owners decided to put it on the market (5-10) years ago they stopped doing repairs and things went down hill pretty quick.
