    Snake Boots

Need the GS help on this one. I have an older pair of Rocky snake boots they don't make anymore. I contacted them and they dont make one with as big of calf opening as these. Does anyone know of a snake boot that has at least a top big enough for a 22 inch calf in an 11EE.

I am liking my new Danners. Kinda expensive but no break in needed.

Well, huge when you unlace them. They are very adjustable. Lace them to fit.

I lace mine a little loose then just pull them on and off and leave them laced.

Another vote for Danners. I love mine, they were the most comfortable snake boot I've ever worn right from the start. I'll never have to break in a stiff pair of Chipps again.

I have both the Danner snakeboots and the Justin snakeboots. Justin's are like high top Rogers and I don't think would work for you. The Danners however are lace ups and you should give them a try. I have several pair of Danners and these snake boots are basically the Pronghorn' with tall uppers. I wear them for all kinds of hunting, not just when I am in snake country. They are very comfortable and do not require a break in period.

Is this wide enough for you. These are my Danner Sharptails. Most comfortable snake boot out there. I got mine at Out Door Country in Bishop. I prefer the pull ups rather than the lace ups. I hate plucking stickers out of laces.

I had my Chip's altered and I have been very happy with them. Here is the thread about the process.
