We need to get a hunt in together. I make lots of afternoon hunts on the laguna. No need to wake up at 04:00 in the morning out there. I just love seeing the evening flight take place over the laguna. Thousands of Red Heads Scaup and pinnys flying from South to North every night. It's quite a site.

Beretta Extrema 2. I use and abuse and it always chucks the shells out in any condition. I have 2 of them that have over 50,000 rounds through them.

I guess I am old school and cheap. My favorite is a Remington 870 express magnum. I have dropped it in the lake and fished it out and continued hunting.

Some of the Weatherbys are just rebranded Huglu's from Turkey. If you look around you could probably buy the same gun quite a bit cheaper. The D'italia ones are not, somebody makes those for them in Italy.

We just spay a little corrosion x on our high dollar guns and keep on hunting, maybe clean it once a week from all the powder residue. The high dollar guns are built for the salt. Built with better more corrosion resistant metals and have coatings for corrosion resistance.
