    Need help finding a valve

Went to the lease to set up watering stations since all 7 of our tanks have dried completely up. I have a 300 gallon cube tote that I was going to set up but we found that it had a cracked valve and wouldn't hold water. We were able to get it off the tank and luckily one of the other guys on the lease had another tote that I could borrow temporarily. The valve has a quick connect type connector on it and we were able to get it off. It is not standard 2" not threads, it is a much coarser thread and has a connection much like a flared tubing fitting. The handle has banjo embossed Ito it.

Mine used a 2" cam lock fitting like the one in the link.

Sorry. I misunderstood your question. I thought you were looking for the connector vs the value.

Swing by Arlington Pipe and Supply one night this week if you get off early enough, They are over by Best Buy off Cooper and may have one.

Looks like what you have other than having threads instead of a QD

Looks like fire hydrant connection. Most are 3 inch.

You might try Ryan Herco Flow Solutions in Grand Prairie. They carry a lot of specialty valves etc. The # is (800) 848-1141.

Looks pricey. If it were mine I would take it apart at the four bolts, cut a steel plate of the correct size, cut a hole in the middle, weld on a section of black pipe with threads opposite the weld and then convert that to PVC. Now any valve or other accessory you need is avaialbe at any hardware store. A good amount of waterpump gasket sealant at the joint and you should be good. Not dealing with much pressure. When it rusts out in 15 years make another- not like it will flood something of value if it goes.

That's a 2" Banjo with a buttress fitting and a 2" male quick couple adapter... shouldn't cost over $50 at any valve supply house in the DFW area or on line
